Could it be that people have the subliminal feeling that using the 
R-word will turn out to be the occasion the dark powers that now be are 
eagerly waiting to round up all the usual suspects (and then some)? 
After all, according to some sources(dark, of course), the holding pens 
are already in place.
Just a dark tought ...
