Re: <nettime> New proposal

Hola Aloha all,

Well looks like, as the Dutch would say, 'the cannonball's gone thru the church' (that was religious wars rhetoric which stayed on ;-) So yes, 'let's just do it'. Jean Noel en Sean, each in their own way, have pointed out why our 'old medium' should stay on, even in a zombie state, and, mind you, zombies have the future. Andreas has laid out an excellent road plan, and Menno is coming up with 'the dolls' (another infamous Dutch concept). And there is no dearth of potential hosters to chose - with discernment - from.

And I am gladly prepared to help out the new maintainers, as I did, discreetly, for the fantastic old ones.

Cheers to all, and Nettime Zindabad! Zindabad!! Zindabad!!!
p+7D!

nettime must continue. Of course it is a very great deal more relevant
and important today than it was five or ten years ago, and will continue
to be so certainly for the next 7-8 years. What goes by the name of
'social media' is a hideous behavioural engineering project on a
planetary scale. It is designed and run by the globalist class and their
servants. nettime and channels like it are therefore essential. I think
that if an alternate residence for nettime is being offered, such as
Geert Lovink's INC, then what only remains is quickly deciding how it
should move and who will attend to the levers when it does. I'm sure
there is no dearth of voluntary capacity within the list. Regards, Rahul
Goswami
