Syndicate: Do Not Send Attachments To Mailing Lists!

dear stefan, dear friends,

it is really against any nettiquette to send attachments to mailing lists.
most people won't be able to read them, they are often a pain in the ass in
terms of the size, and a possible way for viruses to spread.

anything you send to the list should be readable through
telnet/ascii-interfaces. you will find yourself that even those messages
that are written with HTML coding often produce barely readable messages.
mailing lists are text-based, if you want to do more fancy stuff, point
people to web-pages or elsewhere.
