Subject: Art Dirt - performance interface

Hi everyone,
The Port-MIT exhibition opened on Friday in Boston with remote Cu See Me
interfaces by Ebon Fisher in New York and G.H. Hovagimyan in Aix-En-
Provence, France. We know the interface works and it looks good. We have
the capability to do remote audio streaming to Boston. This means you
can pipe live or recorded sound with a Real Audio encoder. For info on
set-up e-mail
<JGilbert@edc.org> the Cu See Me reflector address at MIT for the Art
Dirt is 18.85.22.12 you can open a window and strem your video in that
manner. Don't use color it will crash the machines. set the CODEC to Cu
See Me Gray. We do have good audi with the Cu See Me. There are speaker
with amps hooked to each computer. The simplest audio feed is into your
computer through the Cu See Me audio feed. It is important to use the
lower band widths when streaming. You know 11mhz and mono. If you don't
you will most like crash your computer and the server at MIT. Open up a
chat window when you first connect and see if you can interface with the
tech person at MIT before you do anything fancy. I am enclosing the
schedule again for you to look at.
Love & Friendship to all,
gh
