[Nettime-nl] [OKNO] april program -- the rite of spring

//// Nederlands onderaan, FranÃais tout en bas.

OKNO - artist run organisation for art and media technology - Brussels
http://okno.be

April's here, we finally killed off winter!
Tonnes of lava and earth later, OKNO's garden will grow with structures organic and metallic, with bees of carbon and creatures of silicon. Gardening requires being in sync with the phases of the sun and the moon. We'll baptize it with Sam's oracles of noise, while some OKNO's fly out and come back again. We end the month with Shifting Metropolis, a mapping of the city, cradle of our our newborn space.

8/4 Life is Short and Getting Shorter All the Time by Sam Ashley @ OKNO-outside

Wednesday 08th 19:00

Sam Ashley is working with very simple components: some speakers, some wire, some batteries. Last year he was presenting the first version of his installation inside. Now he is returning to work out a model for outside. From 3 April on you are invited to bring your old, broken, cracked, and defunct speakers. Come during art and office hours. Sam Ashley will present the work in the new rooftop garden in front of OKNO on April 8th.

8/4 Life is Short and Getting Shorter All the Time by Sam Ashley @ OKNO-outside
