It was a great relief to hear Brian Holmes' distinctive and humane voice 
return to nettime at this moment. And as always his wisdom and 
generosity shine through. It is also a reminder that along with the 
technical and admin and editorial/moderator support the list also 
depends on regular and irregular contributors to keep the space alive 
and for whom nettime continues to represent an invaluable space for 
reflection, conversation and most importantly disagreement (of the 
agreeable and disagreeable kind). A conversation space that can 
hopefully evolve.
