VIDA Art and Artificial Life Awards is celebrating its 15th anniversary
March 11th, 2014, from 7 p.m. at Espacio Fundación Telefónica, Madrid (Spain).

 To celebrate it the Espacio Fundación Telefónica will launch the VIDA 15.0 exhibition, the awards ceremony and a program of talks.

The exhibition "VIDA Awards 15.0"will show  the winning pieces from the last edition (2013). The show will be open from March 12th to 20th April. First prize "Rotes Rauschen (red noise)" of Kerstin Ergenzinger, second prize "Moon Goose Analogue (Lunar Migration Bird Facility)" by Agnes Meyer-Brandis, and third prize"Effulge" by Yunchul Kim will be in the show. Also "The Center for Genomic Gastronomy" by Cathrine Kramer and Zackery Denfeld which received the Public Special Award will be exhibited, as well as "Deambulatoria" de Fernando Gutiérrez+.tape. and "memememe" by Hersan y Radamés Ajna which both received and Incentives for Production Award. Come to join us and meet the artists in such special occasion.

In coincidence with the VIDA anniversary we launch the "Art with Science " conferences which consist of a serie of round tables between experts of the field. 
The first round table will take place on March 11th previous to the Awards Ceremony, from 7 p.m. It will consist in a conversation of the three artistic directors: Rafael Lozano-Hemmer (1999-2005), Daniel Canogar (2005-2010) and Mónica Bello (2010-present). On March 12th we will have the opportunity to know Collide@CERN program with Ariane Koek, also at 7 p.m. Jose Luis de Vicente will moderate both talks. The last round table will take place on March 27th with Robert Root-Berstein and Jorge Wagensberg.
