The Amsterdam-Maastricht Summer University offers people of all ages and
from all corners of the world the benefits of the knowledge and experience
of a group of top-ranking international academics and professionals, and
the resources of leading Dutch and foreign cultural, academic and
scientific institutions.

This summer (1999) we will present 28
courses in Maastricht and Amsterdam, where
we can also organise accommodation for the
participants. During the courses we aim to
create an atmosphere in which lecturers and
participants will enter the arena of dialogue
and confrontation on an informal basis. At the
end of the daily sessions the participants have
the chance to socialize and to take part in the
                  cultural evening programme.

                  The Amsterdam-Maastricht Summer
University is an initiative of the Universiteit
                  van Amsterdam, the Hogeschool van
                  Amsterdam and the Universiteit Maastricht.
All courses are produced by our own course
                  co-ordinators with cultural and academic
                  institutions in the Netherlands.

All our courses are in English.
