As of 1 July 1997, C3, the Hungarian Soros Foundation's Center for Culture
& Communication in Budapest, has a new director. Miklos Peternak, Professor
at the Intermedia Department of the Academy of Fine Arts in Budapest, is
taking up the post which was so far held by Suzy Meszoly. The new Deputy
Director is Cecilia Gall. Under the new directorship, C3 will continue its
work according to the original aims in the field of media culture, art and
civil initiatives on a local, national and international level. For further
