FACT is one of the UK's leading agencies for the commissioning, support,
development and presentation of new media, video and film projects by
artists, creative producers and others.  In summer 2002, the ?8.5m FACT
Centre will open in the heart of Liverpool and will feature an
international programme of exhibitions, screenings, projects and events
allied to a set of resources, services and activities supporting the
development of new and emerging forms of creativity.

FACT's  Collaboration and Education Programme is a groundbreaking arts
initiative which brings together international artists with community and
education groups to make new media art works ranging from video
installations to online community broadcasting platforms.

We now wish to recruit highly motivated and resourceful people to fill two
new positions within the Collaboration and Education Team:

SUPERCHANNEL PROGRAMME MANAGER

?17,000-20,000	SPM2001

[18 month fixed term contract]
Superchannel is an interactive internet TV channel that uses streaming
technology to webcast community-generated content.  Liverpool's newest
Superchannel - Tenantspin - has been established  by FACT in partnership
with Liverpool Housing  Action Trust.   The Programme Manager will assist
participants to develop new content for the Superchannel, co-ordinating
contributions from artists, creative producers and others.  Research,
production  or journalistic  experience in either old or new media, a high
level of computer literacy, superb communication skills, and a strong
interest in  the creative capabilities  of collaborative  media are
essential.

CO-ORDINATOR [Collaboration & Education Programme]

?12,000-?13,500	CCE2001

[12 month fixed term contract]

The Co-ordinator will assist the Curator [Collaboration & Education] in
researching, organising and delivering artists projects.   Organised and
enthusiastic, the ideal candidate will combine experience of working in a
creative environment with excellent administrative and communication skills.
