Campanie de afiÈe

Parte integrantÄ a proiectului âLand of Human Rightsâ este o

Land of Human Rights

Poster Campaign

One integral part of the long-term project âLand of Human Rightsâ
is a poster campaign, developed by < rotor > association for
contemporary art. Starting in September 2007, a set of 4 posters is
printed on a regular basis. The front side of the posters present
works of artists on current human rights issues and on the back side
there are short texts of human rights activists, theorists or people
affected by human rights. The aim of the campaign is to inform the
people about their rights in connection with the human rights and to
raise awareness of current human rights issues in a large part of the
population.

The posters are displayed for take-away in several cities in Austria
and Europe.

The posters can be downloaded in print format from

www.landofhumanrights.eu

Land of Human Rights

â was a project dealing with the status quo of the human rights in
Europe seen from the perspective of visual art. Starting by the end of
2007, over a period of three years analyses and visions of human
rights issues in Europe were developed and disseminated in the general
public with the means of art. The planned activities â exhibitions
inside and outside the gallery space, poster campaigns, media
projects, film programmes, theoretical discourse etc â were supposed
to reach a broad audience and to make us aware of the following fact:
In many respects the observance of human rights is not guaranteed
âin front of our doorsâ too!

Land of Human Rights was a project by
