Nerds are Cool Science Hack Day Eindhoven âThe Netherlands 1 + 2 June 2012 Two exciting themes: 1. Healthy living 2. Happy living Two enabling technologies: 1. Open Data 2. Internet of Things The mission of this event is to get excited and make things with science and technology. Science Hack Day Eindhoven is a 32-hour-all-night event that brings together designers, developers, scientists and other geeks in the same physical space for a brief but intense period of collaboration, hacking and building 'cool stuff'. By collaborating on focused tasks during this short period, small groups are capable of producing remarkable results. We expect 50-100 participants, who work in teams of 2-6 individuals. Prizes! The teams can win the following awards consisting of an award ceremony badge, money prize and cool stuff to bring home: Overall happy living Overall healthy living The best hardware innovation The best software innovation The best service design Overall creative design The awards of the Science Hack Day Eindhoven will also be presented at the âIoT Event, 6 June at High Tech Campus Eindhoven.
