Are you a great communicator with creative ideas on how to convey
complex ideas in a clear way to the public and motivate them to take  
action?
Do you feel outraged that every day people's rights are violated in
workplaces where our clothes are produced?

The International Secretariat of the Clean Clothes Campaign (CCC) is
seeking a Campaigns Coordinator (32 hr/week, based in Amsterdam).

*The job*: The Campaigns Coordinator will play a leading role in the
development and coordination of strategies (including communications),
activities, and materials for the CCC's global campaigns. The campaigns
coordinator will also be involved in the organization of international
meetings and with fundraising relating to the CCC's international
campaigns. For an example of a recent CCC campaign see  
www.playfair2008.org.

*The candidate*: A dynamic, skilled communications professional who sees
the potential for bringing labor rights campaigning to a higher level.

*Required skills*: Solid work experience in public campaign planning,
campaign implementation on the ground, and media work a must (preferably
in an international context). Strong writing and communications skills,
excellent written and spoken English, must be well-organized and able to
keep track of multiple ongoing tasks, able to work independently and as
part of team.
Commitment to labour rights, knowledge of garment industry and labour
rights issues, activist background, and a sense of humor a plus.

Applicants must have permission to work in the Netherlands.

*CCC offers*:

    * salary of  EUR2260 (gross) per month for a 32-hour work week. * a
dynamic job as part of a motivated team at our Amsterdam-based
      secretariat
    * opportunity to work within the CCC's inspiring international
      network (including the network of 12 CCCs in Europe and the CCC's
broader international network of partners and allies around the
world)
    * a non-hierarchical workplace with opportunity for involvement in
      all levels of decision-making
