[Nettime-nl] GCA HTML/CSS workshop (Modified by Geert Lovink)

Hi all,

Next week monday, 2 april 2007, there will be another free workshop in De
Peper cafe, Overtoom 301 from 14:00 - 18:00.

I cut and paste this explanation form the Ladyfest Vienna 2007 website
where Urska and Audrey will also be giving the same workshop:
Want to create a simple, effective and attractive website? Want to know
about other cool stuff and tricks how to maintain or build a Web page? ...
CSS/HTML workshop

CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) is a simple mechanism for changing the style
of a Web document without compromising its structure. This works by
separating the visual design elements (fonts, colors, margins, size,
background etc) from the structural logic of a Web page and makes it is
safe to play around with your desired design without messing things up.

CSS is a breakthrough in Web design because it also allows developers to
control the style and layout of multiple Web pages all at once. As a Web
developer you can define a style for each HTML element and apply it to as
many Web pages as you want. To make a global change, simply change the
style and all elements in your Web page are updated automatically.
Interested? Just come and see..
