[Nettime-nl] monday's Open Doors theme.... (Modified by Geert Lovink)

Hi all,

For those living in Amsterdam, don't forget the Genderchanger's Open Doors
this monday the 5th of february, from 2 - 6pm in De Peper in Amsterdam.

We will look at Drpal, one of the many CMS's out there. What is a Content
Management System? In dutch you have the term kant-en-klaar for meals in
the supermarket which have been prepared ahead of time. All you have to do
is heat it up. A CMS is like that - it's a turnkey website. A website that
is ready to serve content without lots of knowledge of HTML or CSS. It
includes all sorts of extra utilities, sothat anyone (ie without the use
of a webexpert) can manage the creation, modification, and removal of
content from a Web site.
