LiSa X / Super Collider Summerschool 2005 STEIM is hosting a LiSa X / Super Collider Summer Workshop, in the period of June 13 through 24, 2004. The workshop will be hands-on, and both workshops are offered for various levels: Super Collider * June 13 through 16 - beginners symposia, very open-arms approach, focusing on basic concepts; basic knowledge about midi and digital audio is required * June 17, 20 & 21 - intermediate symposia, focusing on more advanced concepts, real life applications, GUI development, and live performance use with MIDI controllers * June 22 & 23 - network symposia, for intermediate and advanced users, culminating in a piece for realtime performance * June 24 - performance day and last minute questions LiSa X * June 13 & 14 – beginners; basic knowledge about midi and digital audio is required * June 15, 16, 17, 20, 21 - advanced LiSa – looking more closely into patterns, modulators, realtime effects * June 22 & 23 – expert features – two afternoons with expert users showing their setups and some historic background on LiSa * June 24 – performance day and last minute questions The Super Collider workshop will be in the mornings (9:00 – 13:00), the LiSa workshop in the afternoons (14:00 – 18:00). The LiSa workshop will be given by Robert van Heumen (http://hardhatarea.com). The expert day will feature Daniel Schorno and Michel Waisvisz. The Super Collider workshop will be given by Roddy Schrock (http://www.fundamentallysound.org). During the second week we will have lectures by Michel Waisvisz and Daniel Schorno about performance practice, to bring the gathered knowledge to the stage. These lectures will be held for all workshop participants. Registration You can register for both workshops or just one according to the following pricing scheme. LiSa X: L1 - €200 for the full workshop L2 - €160 for the advanced workshop (starting June 15) L3 - €60 for the expert workshop (starting June 22) Super Collider: S1 - €200 for the full workshop S2 - €120 for the intermediate workshop (starting June 17) S3 - €60 for the network symposia (starting June 22) S4 - €80 for the beginners workshop only (June 13 through 16) LS - If you register for both full workshops the total fee is €375.
