Hierbij willen we jullie van harte uitnodigen om ons op te zoeken op de kunstvlaai no.4. samen met Planet Art presenteert mama, showroom for media and moving art " THE LAST ROADTRIP" Deze installatie van Arno Coenen is het resultaat van verblijf gedurende 8 maanden in L.A. en een roadtrip dwars door de V.S.

Coenen bewapend met laptop en videorecorder hield een visueel dagboek bij. Met een mix van video-footage en computeranimaties hekelt Coenen het systeem '..and all that other crap that inevitably surrounds you in America.' 

Dit kritische en soms hallucinerende verslag geprojecteerd op de ruiten van een Caddilac is de giftige angel in de installatie. Deze attractie met als extra bonus een exclusieve sounscape door dj Dione (bekend van de Solid Rocket Boosters) is een must see dus kom naar Amsterdam en 'get in that Cadillac' & ervaar ' your last roadtrip'

Hello people,

We invite you to visit our booth at the Kunstvlaai 4 / Amsterdam.  Mama, showroom for media and moving art (Rotterdam) and Planet Art (Hengelo) present an installation by Arno Coenen, named "THE LAST ROADTRIP" the result of an 8 month residency in LA and a roadtrip through the US of A.

Coenen working as a techno-nomad with a laptop and videorecorder kept a visual diary. Mixing video-fragments, paper traces and animations Coenen satirises the system '...and all that other crap that inevitably surrounds you in America'.

This critical and hallucinogenic report projected on the windscreens of a (real!) Chevy is the main ingredient of the installation at the Kunstvlaai. This atrraction with an additional soundscape by dj Dione (Solid Rocket Boosters) is a must see. So come to Amsterdam and get in that Chevy & experience your 'last roadtrip'
