Not at all, if you ask me. But something very weird has been going on, for sure. Prigozhin could have taken Moscow easily, with virtually no resistance, and he did not. The question is: why not?

My take on this is that some western powers got very nervous at the sight of Prigozhin's fast approach. Putin may have been disobedient (just like Sadam Hussein was eventually), but he used to be their prime choice for the Russian presidency with regard to the still considerable size of the Russian nuclear forces. Prighozhin is far too unpredictable (and too cruel) for their taste. So some mysterious and shady deal must have been brokered, not by Lukasheko, but by western intelligence agencies and/or power brokers, who offered Prigozhin a prize he could not refuse.
