One of the more amusing talks at 33c3 dealt with mechanizing the process of making art sellable (or making sellable art)

While this is mostly a performance piece, there is definitely a hint of the shape of things to come, analytics for personal (as opposed to corporate) gain. Big data may outperform talent and years of experience. Get ready for open sourced manipulation.
