Initiative D 21:

Initiative D 21 is a project that has brought together most of the major
industrial players of the IT field and that works closely with the german
government and its ministries to further the development of the IT sector
(on legal, political, educational, vocational training, start-up fields).
the goals is the _acceleration of the transition from the industrial to the
information society_.
