"No one sees the sun in New York City, the natives say, but the World Trade
Center gives new meaning to living in the shade. On a winter  afternoon, shadows
of its twin towers reach two miles towards the East River. Such shadows loom as 
an issue in the approval process for new high rises in many part of the         
country."
