MAAP MAIL #1

 MAAP’s ALIVE & KICKIN’!

ANYONE OUT THERE?

Hello! You are currently included in our MAAP database which means you’ll be kept up to date with all the latest movements on the MAAP front by fortnightly e-mail. If you no longer wish to receive information on MAAP then please return this e-mail with ‘delete me’ in the subject line. But, if you stick with us you are guaranteed the freshest and tastiest information on what is happening at MAAP for 2001!

MAAP01 is already warming up and getting ready to present you with some of the most innovative new media art from the Asia Pacific region. Project entries are now closed for MAAP01. We are a little overwhelmed at the EXCESSIVE response and now have the tough job of sorting through hundreds of entries from all over the region. Watch out for your fortnightly newsletters to keep you in touch and will shortly have a new membership option on our page. We are pleased to be working with more organisations throughout the region , new alliances and partnerships that will be announced shortly.

The annual MAAP festival will be held at the Brisbane Powerhouse on the 12, 13, & 14 October, 2001. If you are not in Brisbane don’t let location stop you getting involved in the festival! The entire festival will be netcast on www.maap.org.au, so you can check out the festivities, installations and creations online.
