There are some plans of making Nice a European Seattle... It is at least
sure that some ngo events will take part.

If you are more interested in the official part of the Summit you need
to get access to the Media Centre. This can be very interesting. And it
is not impossible as registration rules are normally not extremely
strict. So you could perhaps register as editors of Loyola Journal of
European Law...
