Pioneering composer-artist-vocalist Beckley presents Bequeathed, about which she says, "the piece begins as a talk on issues about appropriation art and copyright infringement, and evolves into a personal story about a hundred year old theft-in-the making, with the stolen item being a voice."   Lesley Flanigan's new compositions integrate singing and her original instrument, called Speaker Synth

Mivos String Quartet plays Tony Conrad, Luke Dubois, Huang Ruo + CNS Symphony Orchestra play EEG sonifications with David Soldier and Brad Garton
 
Expanded concepts of the string quartet.  Luke Dubois premieres Hard Data, a sonification of digital information collected on the Iraq war plus String Quartet #3: "The Essential" for string quartet and brain waves
composed by Dave Soldier & Brad Garton.
