Interactive Media Practical Methods Lecturer

Up to £40,802 pro rata pa incl
Part -Time (0.4fte) Fixed term until 31 August 2008
New Cross, London

You will support the Centre for Cultural Studies' MA in Interactive Media
which foregrounds dimensions of art and theory. You will work closely with
the Convenor in developing the programme and you will work in the lab with
the MA students.

You will have a high level and flexible understanding of computation,
including an awareness of appropriate languages and hardware. You will be
familiar with both open source and proprietary environments, and their
cultural significance. You will have experience of exhibiting interactive
installations or media projects. You will be research active in the area
of Interactive Media, with a strong background in cultural theory. You
will preferably have the ability to guide students in self-learning and
directed learning in a number of environments.
