<nettime-ann> Caroline Heinrich, "In Search of the Child's Innocence" (Modified by Geert Lovink)

.
On pp.70-75 of the Verso Press edition of "The Spirit of Terrorism and
Other Essays" (translated from the French by Chris Turner), Jean
Baudrillard engages with the theses on the Event of September 11, 2001 of
the young and extremely promising German philosopher Caroline Heinrich.
Heinrich has thus far published two books in German, one of them being the
major work "Grundriß zu einer Philosophie der Opfer der Geschichte" --
"Philosophy of History from the Standpoint of the Victims" (Vienna:
Passagen Verlag, 2004). AVINUS Verlag/Press now begins the publication in
English of Dr. Heinrich's works. We start with the paper that Heinrich gave
at the July 2004 conference on "Baudrillard and the Arts" held at Peter
Weibel's "Center for Art and Media Technology" in Karlsruhe, Germany.

It is at:

"In Search of the Child's Innocence"

The venue is the AVINUS Press online magazine.

Thank you and happy reading.

Best regards,

Alan
