Jayce Salloum, 38:00, 2005, nSyilxcen Nation (Okanagan)
followed by Q&A/discussion with the filmmaker and Tania Willard, board

This videotape   focuses on fragments of histories, of pre-contact,
contact, 
and settlement of the Kelowna area though the accounts of several
nSyilxcen 
speakers. It traces connections and correlations between the periods of 
extermination/disintegration, assimilation, and marginalization to their
present day and context of being First Nations.

Kan ya ma kan/There was and there was not (1988-1998), my large archive 
installation on working in Lebanon and representations of the Middle East
being 
exhibited as part of; Classified Materials: Accumulations, Archives,
Artists
at the Vancouver Art Gallery, 750 Hornby St. exhibition continuing to
Jan. 2, 2006.
