Please don't close the mailing-list,

It is extremely important to maintain any low-tech/low energy system like mail servers, using very simple web protocols. We are experiencing increasing geopolitical instability, coupled with climate change, which can lead to rapid network degradation. Low tech IT like mailing-lists are resilient, and can eventually run on simple and low-cost networks like Freifunk or Guifi. It is conceivable that such self-managed networks will take over locally from a failing internet in the future.

If a change were to take place for the list, it would have to be thought in the direction of a decrease of resources, and not the opposite.
